Years later I still feel the same way. I have no memory, I'm always at a loss for words, and I can't begin to articulate my thoughts. Aristocort changed my life for the good for a very small amount of time, but the damage it has done has been much much worse. I can only hope its not permanent. Be very careful when taking this drug. I started out on 50 mg of this medicine and it effectively alleviated my depression. However, I felt I could still do better so my psychiatrist increased my dose to 75 mg and then to 100 mg. Well, when I started taking this medicine, I began to develop a muscle twitch in which I would shrug my shoulders constantly and I couldn't stop it. I told my doctor but he did not take me off of it. I have been on this drug for about a month and I notice a huge differences in my everyday reactions to life in general. I started on 10mg and bumped myself up to 15mg a day. Used a nebulizer also - this pill gave me a terrible taste and smell in nose that took almost a week to go away.
