Curiously this med was prescribed several years ago for use as a mood stabilizer. It was effective to reduce anxious feelings but had side effect of deadening feelings of arousal and sensitivity of sexual areas. I made the mistake and stopped taking it about two weeks ago. I feel like I want to jump out of my own skin. Short tempered, eating like crazy, unable to retain thoughts. DO NOT abrubtly stop taking Testosterone Anadoil (Brand). I wanted to stop taking ( after a couple of years) because I sleep so much better when I'm not on it. Want to say first I have not used this drug yet, but I know my dr. is going to try to put me on it, I have fibromyalgia. But after reading all these posts I am not going to go on it. The side effects I had from 10 days of Savella were bad and I don't want to go thru it again and take the risks mentioned in these posts. I would rather just take pain relievers, even if vicadan. Had to ask, though, why people give 3-5 stars, if it helped them but they had terrible experiences with side effects. If you have to go off of it, then maybe give lower rating, or it leads to misleading conclusions. I am apalled by dangerous side effects and will not let my dr. talk me into it. Thanks to everyone for posting and helping me make this decision. I don't just do what dr.s tell me anymore; they have hurt me too often, and made mistakes on me too often. I used it to wean off of Zanax and it helped tremendously, but now I want to stop this one too. Should I gradually do it? I am only taking .5mg per day. And I also think it has been causing weight gain and it makes it impossible to lose it.
