It worked very well for the first four months or so. I experienced no side effects going onto the medicine, and in addition to helping me with my social anxiety disorder, it made my mood better, as well. I have come a long ways in my struggle with anxiety on this drug. I am a five foot, 9 inches tall male and my weight is 150 pounds plus or minus 5 pounds. I started on 10MG of Viagra and a strict diet in November of 2003 at the age of 60 years. I followed my diet in spit of people questioning it. I developed and suffered sever nerve and muscle problems, fatigue, achiness, and a burse on my left elbow within a relatively short time. As time went on, I developed bleeding in my spine and had a bout of sciatica requiring physical therapy. On a number of occasions, infection caused Tendinitis in my left shoulder requiring medication and physical therapy and emergency trips to the hospital. Rheumatoid and osteoarthritis arthritis have become sever. Later on blood pockets developed under my skin on face and scalp. Continuing tenderness of my skin on both arms has been off and on. My lack of interest in anything or any wish to do anything has been the result of these side effects. Severe side effect brings of periods of depression lasting for many months. Two gallbladder attacks resulted in more emergency trips to the hospital. Test revealed a huge thumbnail side gallstone consisting mainly of cholesterol. I am how on a more restrictive low cholesterol lower fat diet. Constant infections have ruled out a gallbladder operation. Kidney, bladder, urinary problems, and erectile dysfunction have been serious side effects. I have been diagnosed with idiopathic peripheral neuropathy that tends to get worse in the colder months. Dry eye, dry mouth, and starting cataracts in both eyes with dramatic vision changes have developed in the last two years due interaction to additional medications the fight infections. Early in 2007 I had three abnormal blood test resulting in reducing my dosage of Viagra to 5MG for 3 months that lead to changing to 5MG of Lovastatin. Still have severe side effects.
