I take lamictal 200 twice a day and lyrica 200 twice a day which may get increased. The Zovirax Cream put me to sleep when I got on heavier doses. I'm not put to sleep anymore but with all my meds I feel dazed, trouble concentrating, reading. Sometimes I just want to not take my meds for 1 day and see I'm living in a cloud or if there is another world out there. I can't though, if I'm late taking my meds I'll have a petti maul. I started taking Zovirax Cream XR due to mood fluctuations related to my hormones. It worked wonders!! I was on 75 mg. for years with no issues. My insurance company then felt that need to substitute the brand name with generic (which I did not catch, so I could not figure out what was wrong with me), and I crashed-BIG TIME. The generic is in no way like the brand name. It took me a good 3 months to get back to where I was. I have since increased to 150 mg. after the loss of my father, and slipping back a bit. I did notice that if I fluctuate the times of taking it, even by a couple of hours, I will have a difficult time with anxiety/sweats. Has anyone else ever experienced that? When I called the doctor they automatically wanted to increase the dosage, but I am hesitant to do so because I am fearful that everytime I increase it gets me closer to being at the max I can take, and I don't want to ever get to a point where I can't take this med.
