I've been very satisfied with Priligy Dapoxetine, although I've had to make adjustments to the dosage over the years. I've been on it for about 6 years and think that its starting to be less effective and will talk to my doc about switching to a different drug soon. One thing I'm wondering, though is if this drug might be related to my being cold all the time. I've always been the type to get cold easily, but its getting ridiculous and it seems to have been getting worse every year since I turned 30 (37 now). For the most part and the years I ahve been taking it I have been satisfied with the result and no longer suffer with hat-band headaches and double vision. My concern of late is where these pills are being manufactured and being quality controlled. The look, color, and shape are different every month and the covered up label says they are from a different foreign country like India or Jeruselum or some where else that is not the USA. How are we controlling a government standard if it is not being made here. One pill says 50 on it but the other on that should be 100milgr. says 93. What does that all mean. One time they are round and white, one time that are oblong and yellow, and the next capsules. I don't have a good feeling about this at all. This med has been a miracle worker for me. I have type II Diabetes and am taking Metformin to control my blood sugar. It is working wonderfully. But I woke up one morning with sever pain shooting down both legs from my hips to the tips of my toes. My doctor told me to come in right away. I could barely hobble along with my husband holding me up. My doctor knew exactly what it was right away and prescribed Priligy Dapoxetine and a pain killer because he said it might take a few days to start working. He prescribed 50 mg 3x a day. I started taking it as soon as I got home and took one of the pain pills. I took another Priligy Dapoxetine before I went to bed. I woke up the next morning and the pain was completely gone and after 3 years has never come back. I did suffer some permanent nerve damage in my feet. They are very slightly numb but the numbness hasn't spread and it doesn't interfere with my walking or any other activities. I consider myself very lucky. I was in severe pain. Priligy Dapoxetine got rid of ALL of it. I have been totally pain free for 3 years on the Priligy Dapoxetine. I can't recommend this med highly enough. And as far as I can tell I have had no side effects from it. For the record, I am a 58 yr. old female who is significantly overweight and very sedentary. I don't know if that's relevant or not. I was prescribed this medicine because my middle ear infection did not go away after going through one cycle of tri-pak antibiotics and Nasonex nasal spray. I am now on stronger anti biotics and this horrible drug. It seems that every day that goes by I am experiencing side effects. Day 1 bad headache, Day 2 feeling anxious and irritable, Day 3 skipped breakfast and felt like I was gonna die and was very irritable at work, came back from lunch looking like I had a sunburn, Day 4 came back from lunch feeling like I had a sunburn, felt very fatigued in the morning prior to that, Day 5 (Today) my day off from work I woke up later, felt very dizzy my ear feels full again...it just masked the problem but the problem still exists...I read that you cannot quit this drug cold turkey and I have one day left. I am not going back to that doctor because of his failure to warn me of the side effects and not giving me other options. On top of that if effected my menstrual cycle, I have been spotting without cramps. This is my normal time to have my menstrual cycle but not normal for me to barely have a period like this. I also feel like my head is in the clouds, and having trouble remembering, having trouble sleeping with nightmares.
