After having a chronic sinus infection for years, this is the only thing that worked. I don't usually take this high of dose, but have only had a rash that I am not sure if it was from this or the illness itself this time, since I had a sinus infection, bronchitis, laryngitis, and more. When I first took it, it was difficult, and I had experienced thrush and diarrhea in the past, but have had no such issues the last few times. I was diagnosed w/RA in July of 2002. Started plaquenil (200mg's) in 2003 and have been on it ever since. It has helped me tremendously and I have never had one single side effect. They were going to give me Methotrexate and I blu my stack since Methotrexate is a chemo drug. So I just stuck w/the Nolvadex by itself. I guess I'm a lucky one. I've been on every SSRI out there for panic disorder and depression for the past 20 years. Most docs don't tell you that you may need more than just one drug. The best combination for me is Oxytrol 10mg at night + Wellbutrin XL 150mg in the morning. Initially, I was on too high a dose of each individually, and almost gave up. Luckily, it took awhile, but I feel like a new person. Docs don't tell you that you build up an immunity to most SRRIs (like Oxytrol) over time. Wellbutrin helps fill in the gaps, helps improve libido, and increase energy. Worst side effect of Oxytrol didn't turn up for two years...night sweats. They're horrible, yet they go away completely if I skip my dose for a few nights. Ob/gyn tested hormones for menopause and that's not the problem. Weird that the side effect listings don't describe that problem. It should be easier to report side effects to the government. The FDA website makes the process next to impossible unless someone has died as a result of the drug. Overall, Oxytrol is worth trying for its milder side effects, but no generic is available just yet. by BILL from Gladys, VA
