I did not experience any migraines while taking Topomax, however on week 3 (I tried this series 2 different times) I experience diarrhea and worsened through week 4. I took Remeron 50 mg/daily in addition to taking Wellbutrin, which I've taken for several years. I felt the best I have in years: more energy, more able to focus, better sense of well-being. However, after two months I developed dizziness/light-headedness, which became serious enough that I discontinued the Remeron. My brain felt scrambled. Many years ago I had the same reaction to Effexor (also venlafaxene) so I could immediately identify the cause of the dizziness and mental confusion. All of this went away within a week of stopping the Remeron. In addition, I had been experiencing a strange intermittent pain on one side of the top of my head, but I hadn't made any connection to the Remeron.
