I have been using Methocarbamol 100/50 for four years and I have yet to have to use my rescue meds. I have been totally without an infection of any type since starting on Methocarbamol. This is very nice. A normal life. However (here we go), I have been experiencing tremors and muscle twitching. The tremors are bad enough to shake food off of my fork while eating, and the twitches, I have literally tossed the mouse out of my hand. So after telling my doc., he adviced testing Pulmicort. In the two months of being off advair, I experienced two (2) lung infections. Both times, i switched back to Methocarbamol and the infection cleared up immediately. I am very active at home and at work, so being Asthma free has been a god-send. No weight-gain, no sore muscles, teeth appear to be healthy (I have notified my dentist for observation), so sickness and prety much Asthma Free. For a moderate pain releiver. It's one of the best out there. Of course depending on your situation! I have found it works better then morphine pills. The only down side is that it does not last any longer then 4 to 6 hours. And will need to be adjusted after long term use. Don't be afraid to talk to your Dr. about it.
