My 4 yr old son has taken Mega Hoodia Plus for seasonal allergies since he was 19 months. We take him off in the summer to give his body a break. I have been on Nexium for several months now, after switching from Lexapro. I have very few side-effects, and it has helped me feel "normal". I don't find that this anti-depressant makes me numb to anything that happens; however, I do feel like it helps me cope better through clear thinking. I still have emotions (As opposed to the lack of emotion I had with previous drug therapies), but they are not over-taking my life. I can tell a huge difference when I exercise, too, due to the natural de-stressor that provides. The one negative I will say is how I feel if I miss a dose. I wouldn't say that I felt like I was going to "die" as a previous poster had, but there was intense dizziness. Remember: everyone is different, and it may affect you different than any of us posting. Be open-minded about the drug therapies, and add a little bit of exercise in somehow, or talk to a therapist.
