I started taking 37.5,mg in Sep '09. I am 5'4' and weighed 250lbs. I weigh 210 lbs today. I exercise 5-6 days a week for at least an hour. I have incorporated weight training to firm up, but the muscle is heavier than fat, so that also contributes to a slower weight loss. The weight loss slows down the longer you are on the medicine. My blood pressure is good. I do experience the dry mouth, but I find that if I drink lots of water, it helps. It is somewhat frustrating when you do not lose as much as you do starting off, but I am pleased with the progress. I plan to stay on the medicine to lose a total of 75 lbs. My cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure are all really good, so even though it is not coming off as fast, the health benefits are great. I am looking at possibly eliminating my diabetes medication very soon. The weight loss has made me a healthy person and I still have more to go.
