I took this medication to treat back spasms due to prior back injuries. While on this medication I was unable to focus, experienced anxiety, and was overly emotional. before i was on zoloft i couldnt leave my house for 7 years. i had terrible anxiety and couldnt see people. after i started zoloft,a couple of weeks in,i started leavin the house and eventually had a better quality of life, although my anxietys were never gone completely and my life was never normal it was far better than before. i eventually went up to 100 mg. but after about a year or two winged myself down to 25. i had been on zoloft for a total of 8 years,a couple years ago i tried to wing myself off completley to see if i could live without meds, since i was only 14 when i started taking them i wondered if i had outgrown my anxietys,but i could not come off the 25 mg without major withdrawls my anxiety was to great. ive been off for 3 months now because i could not get it refilled without seeing my doctor which i could not do because of a promblem with my medicaid at the time. the doctor refused to give me any untill the problem was solved! stopping it is dangerous but apparently they didnt care.i used wht i had left to wing myself off because i had no choice, i thought i was past the withdrawls but now 3 months have past with no zoloft and i feel worce than i have in my whole life, the feelings are unexplainable and i never had them before i started zoloft. the worst of these is a sort of dizzyness, but it feels like gravity is pushing my head and all of me down. it usually doesnt last longer than a minute but its so terrifing i often cry afterwards cause it made me feel like i might die. the other day on the way home from the store my memory failed me to the point of terror i forgot all kinds of things like what i was doing earlier and if i was really even here!it scared me so that i layed down and tried to sleep my anxiety was so terrible it took me 20 min to fall asleep. after i woke i felt alittle better. does anyone know how long this will last? is this what the rest of my life will be like without zoloft or did the meds permantly mess me up this way?HELP by ERNESTO from Nahma, MI
I have no idea why my doctor put me on Inderal.I do have migraines but I am already taking Avert it is a wonder drug for these headaches, back to Inderal I took this drug for 2 days 25mg each day, it was so strong that my doctor cut the dose in half, needless to say on the third day I was so depressed I could not get out of the bed.On the forth day I quit taking it an began to feel so much better.I think this medication was suppose to help me with nerve pain from surgery on my cervical spine. I have been taking Keppra at the lowest dosage, .25 mg for about 8 years. It has been a God send. I no longer fear having apanic attack and am able to do so many things that for years I wouldn't even dream of.
