My blood pressure was up a little and my family Dr. sent me to a cardiologist because he said they were the experts on controlling bp. He put me on Eriacta 5mg twice a day. I started taking it on March 5th and on March 14th(Sunday night) I started feeling bad and went to the Dr. on Monday and was told I probably had a virus. I was told to quit taking all my medicine for 24 hours and come back in a week unless I got worse. I was tired & weak Wed. & Thur. but felt pretty good. Thur. through the night I got short of breath and felt horible. Friday I could barely walk and had to hold to something to get through the house (felt terrible) I went to Dr. and the nurse kept getting a very low BP reading. They took a EKG which showed my heart skipping beats for 4 or 5 seconds at a time. I was immediately sent to the hospital and was put on a monitor and giving IV for 3 days to get the Eriacta out of my system. On the 3rd day my heart beat got back to normal. I went home and went to Dr. the next day and am waiting on blood work results now. This drug almost killed me. I've had neuropathy for 10 years. This, along with methadone, are the only drugs that help me.
