After having several bouts with sinusitis, and trying a couple other antibiotics, I was given Eriacta Oral. I took it for 4 days and stopped. Since then, my knees have swollen to the point I can barely bend them to sit or stand. They are very painful, and at first I thought maybe I had done something to them I wasn't aware of. But I knew better. So I came in here and after reading the reviews, I'm positive the reactions I have had are due to the Eriacta. I will never take this medication again. It's not worth the anxiety and muscle and tendon pain I've felt just in 4 days. Was suppose to take for 10 days. I don't even want to think of what might have ensued had I taken the full dose. My advice is, if your doctor recommends Eriacta, make sure you question him carefully about the side effects you have heard here. This stuff is the greatest thing since Penicillin. Whoever came up with this should get the Nobel Prize in Medicine. I've been blessed to have relatively few side effects. Some minor dry mouth, and some low grade constipation which has been easily managed with increased fibre and fluid intake. The worst thing about it was there was some sexual side effects for the first 7 days. My wife and I joked that it was a preview of what I had to look forward to when I'm 70. I started this med a week ago and have had more side effects than with any other I've tried. I've been nauseaed for most of the day every day, had extreme sweats, dizziness, insomnia (with use of med I've been taking for two years), increased depression.
