I was prescribed this medication for root canal therapy; taken for 10 day @ 3 times per day. Had not tooth pain or swelling but was told there was an infection. It is now day 7 and after reading some of the other reviews, I realize that some of the things I have been experiencing may be as a result of this medication. Have been having headaches, extreme lower backpain, soft stools, dizzy/nervousness, nausea, severe knee pain, and intermittent itchiness w/o rash. I also forgot one night to wait 30 minutes before laying down and had extreme heartburn that felt like I was having a heart attack! Because I suffer from fibromyalgia, I always contribute most things to IT, but had not really been having any flair-ups. So, evidently, these things must be a result of this medication--effects that were not listed on my readout from the pharmacist. I am use to dealing with the symptoms of fibromyalgia, so I can handle these side effects; but I surely hope they go away after day 10 of treatment. Many seem to have had prolonged effects after the discontinuation of treatment.
