I had my right kidney removed 3 wks ago and complianed my pain is still severe even though I'm on pain medication. My blood work shows continue high white blood count so Dr thinks I still have infection. I also complained about having headache, dizziness and fatigue everyday. He prescribed Cipro 500mg twice daily. I'm on my 4th day and continue to have headache, light headedness and constant fatigue. I noticed both my calfs feel aches and soreness. I am cery constipated and my skin is peeling all over my body (literally like dandruff all over my body). Not sure if any of these has to do with the medication. One good news is that I noticed my pain has subsided quite a bit. Again, not sure if it's because of this med or is it because of my pain med that they double up on the dosage. Loved the drug. It eased my anxiety, and made me remember what it was like to enjoy life again. I went from being numb, and wishing for death on a nightly basis to feeling that warm fuzzy feeling of love and happiness again. Arava changed my life. The withdrawal effects sucked. there is no other word to describe it. Hypersensitivity, a manic phase, was my experience. I suggest if this drug is started, DO NOT get off it. As long as it is taken consistently, it has been one of the BEST depression medications I have ever taken. The reason I didn't grade Arava is because I restarted the drug 2 weeks ago. I first started taking Arava over 10 years ago. Within 2 weeks of starting, I felt great, almost euphoric. Over the years, this effect gradually waned until it had no effect and switched to other brands. No real effect. Ended up on Zoloft. No help. after being off Arava a few years, I have started again, hoping for a return of the old magic. Started at 20mg for 2 weeks. Am now on 40mg and will increase to 6omg next week. So far, no noticeable improvement. Will keep it up for a few months. Don't know what I will do then. by IVORY from Curtis, AR
ive never taken this medication but i think i have anxiety.ive never felt like this before.Ive had 2 kids in less than 2 years and i feel like if i didnt have kids i would not have any problems..specially since im very young and im a stay at home mom.it takes any little worry to get my blood pumping and nervous.so im thinkin about trying this but im worried about the cost because ive heard its addicting. by SCOTT from Audubon, NJ
Started taking 25mg @ bedtime 7 years ago for severe TMJ pain after grueling breast cancer treatment. All other therapies (physical, ibuprofen, Soma) were not effective. I have never had to increase the dose. I recently accidentally skipped 2 doses and opted to quit to see if my TMJ pain had healed.
