I started adderall 1yr ago and it has changed my life.I take 40 mgs daily.I was in bed and in my home going nowhere I suffer from depression and anxiety and chronic pain also ADD Ihave been on pain meds anxiety and depression meds also I found out thru taking adderal i am normal Ican focus and follow thru with things I go out into the real world. If there is anyone out there that can help me get back to normal please help me find a M.D.so he or she can see that i need this med I DO NOT abuse meds in any way. Im scared of what my life will be w/o this. those who know me have seen an incredible change. Ijust want to be normal. I am a 54 year old woman who has degenerative disk disease and I have had 3 major back surgeries. I took this medication for migraines which was caused spasms in my neck and shoulders which is the only part of my back that is not fused and it did wonders for the spasms which took the migrains away. I do not like the vivid dreams or the dizziness but will suffice to say that over all I am not impressed but relieved that I can get a nights sleep without having spasms wake me up and keep me awake for hours and hours. I have tried many other preventatives over the years before topamax. Zoloft is the most effective for me. I still get about one or two headaches a month requiring an imitrex injection and sometimes bed for a day or two. Before Zoloft, on Inderol for example, I had some degree of headache each and every day. I didn't even know to be honest what it felt like to be headache or pressure free in the head most days.
