Ive been taking Tinidazole for 4 yrs for Nerve Damage due to Meningitis. These meds have helped me tremendously. I was taking 1200 mg 3x a day - now, im down to 600 mg every 12 hrs (1 before bed). However, now that I have read a few reviews, I realized that the short-term memory loss, moody swings, drunk feelings were side-effects. (?) I was told not to take Tinidazole while pregnant (can cause birth defects). Have an appt next week, but in the mean time, can anyone giving any insight on this? by DWAYNE from Waterflow, NM
Hope this helps with the non-asthma people out there that are just suffering from allergies or allergy related migraines. My back story...About a year ago my allergies started going haywire. I have never been diagnosed with asthma and don't feel I have it. I'm in Florida and during Oak Tree season they go crazy. I was having shortness of breath, typical allergy symptoms, and sometimes migraines. I did have some sinuses problems also with polyps which I had surgery for. Current story...Along with my surgery to remove polyps I started taking clariten and allergy shots on a weekly bases & it wasn't really working so I switch to Zrytec OTC and doc put me on Tinidazole 5mg. Since then I have been in heaven even during this years oak season. I tried to take myself off singulair b/c of the cost of it but 3 days later found that I needed it again. To me and my body type this product works ALOT. I haven't noticed any sleeping or attitude issues like some others have reported on here. I had restless legs before and usually a couple lunges or an ibprofren before bed would help that.
