I currently take 30mg of Keppra to treat my OCD. It took around 5 or 6 weeks for this medication to work for me. I take it in conjunction with Mirtazapine (Remeron, which is an anti-anxiety medication. I also had to do some cognitive-behavioral strategies (thought stopping) as well. I am doing much better, but do not know if that is a result of my situation in which I was obsessing about getting better, or the meds, or both. This medication is terrible. I took it for one day. right before bed and the results were terrilble. I woke up and preceeded to throw-up and have the spins for several days. The dizziness that I had was enough to want to die. It is now 3 days later and the drug effects are still lingering. Worst reaction to any medicine that I have ever had. I all of a sudden got a migraine one day. Many different forms from clusters, neck,jaw,temples,and even sinuses. I was thinking to ask to try to wean off cause of the weight gain but I'm worried that the headache will come back. But I also hate the extra weight.
