My son is 7 years old and since he has been taking this med his temper has been out of hand and he has been acting very mean to every one and it seems like it don't care about nothing. ok, here's the deal. this stuff works very well for my 2 herniated discs (L2,L3) i have been prescibed the 10/325 watsons. i was directed to take 1 every 12 hours, but that is not realistic unless you sleep 12 hours a day. the effect last about 4 or 5 hours. i take 3 to 4 a day depending on my level of pain. it is also better to take this kind as opposed to the 5/500 because of the liver damage potential. it can be addictive if you are not careful. it works the best, especially compared to antiimflamitories and muscle relaxers. tramadol has been ineffective for my pain, and caused hallucinations. MD's are very cautious in prescribing, but if you see a shrink you might be able to get it more often with a larger amount. for me i would rather be addicted than in constant pain. withdrawls can last a few days, but are not totally terrible. also my insurance pays 100%. don't try to get a refill (if your doctor gives you one) before the recommended date or the pharmacist will look at you like an addict and give you a lecture and make you wait while they call your doctor. in my opinion it should be given without question to anyone with moderate to severe pain. the good out weighs the bad. by CASEY from Holcombe, WI

I have been treated for almost 2 years after first diagnosis; but after 100 mg adjustment was told this would no longer be available for bipolar disorder and would be only for skitzophrenia and only in larger doses than 100 mg and time released.
