I have been on paxil, prozac and zoloft and they never worked for me. I have been on the Bupropion for 8 days and so far I like it. I had no energy for my 3 year old or my fiance and work was draining me every day. I have more energy which is what I was going for and I don't feel tired. I do take a 25mg of Trazadone to help me sleep and it seems to work good with the Bupropion. I have noticed a loss of appetite which isn't bad but when I'm busy I forget to eat. I was on Provera several years ago for migraine prevention and it worked well at preventing them, but the side effects made it very tough. I became very spacey and tongue-tied, and as a 911 operator this can be dangerous so I stopped taking it. My migraines have become completely unbearable again so I am starting Provera again at a lower dose and I am hoping this time it will be a better experience with the side effects. i have been taking cymbalta for quite sometime now, a couple of years. For me it was a lifesaver. I have suffered from severe depression all of my life, later diagnosed with bi-polar but with my depression I suffered from a lot of pain due to it. Provera has alleviated most if not all of those symptoms most days, all other anti depressants just were not strong enough. I have not had any side effects except dependancy which i would also warn that this is not for seasonal or situational depression, you should plan on being on cymbalta for the long haul.
