Today is the first day on Buspar..Prescribed 10mg for 10 days, then 10mg 2x day..So I took the 10mg at 10:40am and I feel more anxious and nervous (nervousness is listed side-effect) It is now 12:40pm in afternoon and very nervous. Not like this..Took it before and except for the crazy feeling that last for a good half hour and then stopped after 2 weeks, I did not feel any side effects. I am also on a boat-load of drugs for depression.. From 2007-2009 I was on ZOLOFT,.50mg Ativen, 1mg Klonopin at night. Life was wonderful..Till SHrink bullied me into taking PROZAC..a drug I knew I could not take. Everthing went wrong,the worst it turned my anxiey back on big time..Went back to Zoloft. It gave me anxiety and then killer headaches..My life has been screwed since last summer..Zoloft is the only anti-depressant I can take..Have new Shrink..still messed up..I hate that Shrink. she destroyed my life..Just took 1mg Ativan to calm me down..THis is not good. by AUBREY from Elizabeth, NJ

Have reported muscel weekness and abnormal bowel movements (every 7 to 10 days). In 03 had one medicated Stient placed into the RCA. Every year since have had more Stints (Medicated-Texes) placed in the RCA and LCA. Last one was June 2008. Had to clean out broken ends of stints and plaque build up. Methocarbamol is a horrible drug and my Doc is an idiot. He had me on 60 (yes 60) mg of Methocarbamol and 450 mg of Wellbutrin. Each 150 mg of Wellbutrin increase the effect of abilify ~50%. You do the math. I should sue this Doc for gross negligence and possibly damaging my liver. DO NOT TAKE ABILIFY AND WELLBUTRIN! Of course I tapered the Wellbutrin to 0 mg and quit the abilify. The 3/4" deep pitting from Edema in my lower legs attributed to venous insufficiency went entirely away when I quit Methocarbamol. The anxiousness and restlessness and sleeplessness went entirely away when I quit Methocarbamol. I now treat my serious bipolar I with dialetical behavior therapy and CBT. These seem to be for the past four months far more effective than the medications. The medications are a bandaid. The DBT and CBT are ways you get guided teaching to act and not react and accept who you are for what you are. Moreover you learn you have choices and you can with the help of a therapist that is well trained in DBT and CBT to survive happily and not kill yourself wit these dangerous drugs. BTW. Methocarbamol resulted in a 80lb weight gain in 5 years or so, I became prediabetic, and could not sleep. When I quit I lost 48 lbs in 5 months. I only have 32 lbs to go!!! I sleep like a baby now. I have been in remission from BP I for nearly 9 - 10 years. After quitting the meds there has been no relapse with the DBT and CBT therapy. by KERMIT from Bucoda, WA
i have used this medication for about 4 years. I have fibromyalgia and it has been quite the life saver. I am able to move around in ways i have never been able to before. It was hard to get used to. I could not stay awake at first and was very very groggy. this passed in about 1 week to 1.5 week. It was well worth the time. I now have such diminished pain that i can exercise and all. i would recommend to all. trust me, i've tried the others. lyrica and relafen blah blah blah. this works for me. i hope you all find the peace i have. blessings. by MICHAEL from Edwards, MS
