My Doctor prescribed this medication to me today, I have been feeling overwelmed with anything a person can think of, no energy, I feel weak, and cry over anything all I want to do is sleep!! in a hurry to try anything that would make me feel like the old me I took it as soon as I got home, around 9:30am within 30 minutes I was extremely tired and went to bed woke up around 1:30 throwing up but nothing was coming up cuz I hadn't eaten anything yet! So all day I have been feeling like I'm going to throw up and I've had the runs! I thought this was going to make me feel better! I have read all the negative reviews on here and I'm not sure if I want to coontinue useing this drug! Started out taking the HCT Maxalt but it was too strong, made my arms go numb during sleep. Switched to the regular 160mg Maxalt with better results. It has made me dizzy at times but it has been tolerable. When squatting be careful when standing, some dizziness may occur, it does with me. A blessing to finally get a full night's sleep. I started at 5mg for a month then went to 10mg now for over 3 years. I've taken holidays from it for 3-10 days with extreme difficulty getting to sleep. My MD said to take it with clonazepam but I haven't done that yet. To scared I won't wake up. I have noticed that I do have episodes of amnesia the next day. My husband says I did this or that. heck if I remember! Thankfully it has never been driving or eating at night.
