This medicine does give me some relief but not complete and I have found it to give me swollen feet. I stopped taking this due to not having any new perscription and found this out, do not know if this is or could be a side effect but it did make my feet unswollen and the ankels are still a bit swollen and do hurt when I press the spot. by SHERWOOD from Capron, VA
i have been on strattera for about 2 or 3 months now the only problems i have experenced with it is 1 if i take it with out eating first them i feel bad all day it feels like i have no sugar in my body like the medicine absorbes all my sugar and i dont feel better till the next day or after i sleep for a while which is the main cause of the 2nd problem i have with it which is that i forget to take it cause but most of the time its cause when i remember it alot of times i have not ate yet and then i get busy before i eat and remember it o and if you don't drink something with it sometimes it stays in your throat and then opens when you burp or somethings and then it tastes really really nasty and its hard to get rid of the taste. by DEMETRIUS from New Smyrna Beach, FL

I took Standard ED Pack (Brand) 150 (mg) for three years. Missed a dose, here and there, and the withdrawal was intense. The electric shock feeling was terrifying the first time. I complained to my doctor ans was told that the "shock" feeling might actually be a plummet in saratonin levels. So, on my own, I cut back, first to 75mg per day and then half again. I was able to go dose free for 2-3 days before the "shock" would come and I'd take a pill. I continued just treating the "shocks" as they came until I was pill free for days, then weeks at a time. If you are ready to wean off Standard ED Pack (Brand), get your doctor to lower and break up your dosage (instead of 2x75mg per day, ask for 4x32.5). This will help you begin slowly skipping one dose and so on. Standard ED Pack (Brand) is a fantastic medication and it doesn't have to be a nightmare (literally) to come off it. Pay attention to your "shocks" or crashes as you lower your dosage and treat only when you feel them. It will work. Thought I would lose some weight that I had gained this past year. Not yet and I exercise three times a week. My biggest complaint is the sweating. I feel like I am going through menopause again but it's worse than that. I don't like this reaction at all. I also have developed swelling in my ankles and feet that I didn't have before. Can only wear my flip flops. Can't get into any of my other sandals or shoes. Didn't have this problem before I started this medicine a few months ago. My doctor says to limit my salt intake.
