I have been on Simvastatin (40 mg.) for 3 weeks and took myself off them. I was having such severe back pain to the point I almost had my husband take me to emergency. Since going off this medicine, I am MUCH better. The pain in my back and shoulders is getting better every day, and I have more energy. I am going back on Crestor (10 mg.) with a blood test in 6 weeks and another one in 3 months. (I am tested every 3 months for lipids and muscle enzymes.) I listened to my body this time! My doctor told me to get off them immediately. I couldn't even roll over in bed without my back hurting. I'm waiting until the Simvastatin is out of my system before starting back on Crestor. I am a 36 year old female that had my first seizure the day after my birthday. I have been on the medication almost a month now. I still feel tired and am very anxious. side effects were horrible enough to stop taking it after a few days. fever, itchy skin, cough, stuffy nose, burning eyes, weird ejaculation. the drug seemed to help with urgency but side-effects totally out-weigh the benefit. it's possible that i have sulfa allergies. may want to consider that before taking this. by ELLSWORTH from Springville, IN

I was in a car wreck on 5-24 and my doctor took me off my Meloxicam (for my back)and started me taking this twice a day for injury to my right shoulder. Also on Hydrocodone every 6 hours or as needed. I am not that impressed with this. He spoke of this being a wonderful drug to bring down swelling and that hasn't happened. And when taken with the Hydrocodone, I get so "drugged" I can not function. Even my 11 year old commented on how "close to dead" I looked after taking the 2 together as prescribed.
